Re: New bands & Old bands

Well I like old bands and new bands, no real difference, except for time. Technology has changed, music might has changed slightly, but other than that, they are still singing, still making songs.

Whether you like a band or not depends on your own personal preference. Not whether they are new or old. I guess people will like predominatly old music or new music, but again it's personal preference.

i like old bands, sure they can't compare to new bands but there are many now that are still good. like my chemcial roamnce, AFI, Muse, The Early November, rise against, the strokes. but still the best are the older the pixies, the clash, nirvana, pink floyd, smashing pumpkins.

AFI has been around for a while actually. But I think they suck.

I suppose it was wrong of me to brand all new bands the same, but it seems like the same old stuff with minor changes. It works for some bands, but just ruins others. There are a few songs I might like, but not enough to buy an Album.

Wow! Someone who's heard of Styx.

I like old bands like Kiss, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Poison, and Motley Crue. I don't like too many of the new bands cause to me they don't have the kind of hard rock sound like the older bands have.
