Thread: Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii.... hmmm. I think Miyamoto came up with this idea while taking a wee. Just my opinion.

I'm happy that at least one of the big three is still in it for the games and not for the gargantuan profits.

I really have to admit i never really thought of it that way...its a nice thought to think they care about gamers and not the money

Better graphics isn't something that should be all that important to a gaming system. It shouldn't matter if the system can display graphic HD quality or beyond if the games are crap. What should matter is if the graphics fit the game, is the the look you want? I feel Nintendo knows this, and designed their system to be as economic as possible while giving them enough free reign to ensure that the games have the right feel. Really, it is game play that makes a game, not if it has blow-your-brains-out stupifing graphics. Who here has played Super Metroid? Hands done, one of the better game out there.

I think that is where Nintendo pulled off the coup de grace with the option to download all their older stuff. Nearly every one of my favorite games is of the older stock.

They only care about the money. Well, probably everyone at Nintendo but Myamoto. If you think about it. They are going to come up with just about as much as Sony or Microsoft with the Wii's lower price and selling more. It will most likely be the most popular though. Plus, they have SSBB. A game that will most likely be the top seller for the Wii for months. Like it's predicessor SSBM.

Man, the Nintendo Wii will outshine the rest. i mean its the only consoles that directly concentrates on games and ONLY on games. Oh and the Wii will have a built in Opera browser so I guess that makes it about 95% focused on games.

The wii will definitely sell alot cuz its gonna be the cheapest console, and its nintendo the "all family console" so yeah this is gonna be a success, I plan on buying a Wii, and another console, not sure which one PS3 or Xbox 360 hmm...
