i think that the old version is pretty ridiculous, i was just really stupid, no offence but thats what i think

When it comes to movies versus books, books usually win. Simply because you imagine how it happens in greater details than book describes that fit your satisfaction. However, for myself not reading the book, I'd have to say I liked it.
The original is good. A true classic.
I heard many bad things about the remake though...
yea i heard that the new one wasn't all that good, but the book was good
