I have played both,I like to play online games to play against others and co-operative game play. Its is just more fun and enjoyable sometimes that way.Plus there is the fact going up against people better or as good as you wish adds a nice challenge to a game you have played.
But the again i like to play offline games allot to.I rather just to play by my self and not be bother by others and finish or play a game my self.Which i find my self doing allot and still am ,Anyway so i would say i like offline games a little more than online ones.
I like playing offline games because you don't really have to pay for a service or pay a fee each month or whatever. Sure you can play with more people and there is more interactivity but I don't really want to be bothered by people or get fragged a million times. I like playing by myself because I can get addicted to offline games more and there is no distractions.
I prefer "offline" games by far compared to online ones ... because single games are more interesting and challenging actually though i would love to play some Lan games .. my point is "offline" games generally are more fun to play .. that's what i think anyway ...
i like games off line ... you can play it freely and you can play it every time you want and games of line will be more funny than online games .... =^_^=
I like both but i'll go for offline...reasons? Just preference, i just like it the way it is.
Online games especially the mmorpgs are pretty addictive but a little bit pointless in some aspects. Don't get me wrong i've played a ton of mmorpgs and i've enjoyed my stay within that game's community. Sometimes online games just leaves you wandering and looting around a vast wilderness boosting your level and stats. It leaves you with hardly any plot at all, sure online games have plots but your character just isn't involved with it. Online games (usually) end in two ways: either the servers shut it down because of poor reception, or you just get tired of it and quit.
But online games does have good points as well...I'm just sayin' the reasons why i picked offline over it.
It all depends on what type of gaming xperience you are looking for. Most single player games get you right up in the action, but so do a lot of multiplayer games. Multiplayer games give you the chance to jus do morethan blow up some guy or shoot that tank. you have the interaction with fellow gamers who understand things. If i had to pick one though, i would pick online games. once you figure out the strategy for an offline games AI, you pretty much have it beat everytime. But with Online games, everyone has different strateegies. its more of a challenge. Unless your fighting noobs of course.
I find offline ok so the game im playing can show off its graphics and potential, in the end i prefer online games tho. Most singleplayer storygames ill only play once or twice before they dissapear on the bookshelf, no matter how pretty the cut-scenes etc are. AI altho decent these days gets really easy fast once you figure out tricks to beat them. Playing online with other people will always garantue some degree of unpredictability, especially in fps games and alike.
Since i dont have a console i can't simply attach an extra controller and share the fun. So at least for the pc i defo prefer playing online, theyres much more challenge and a bigger feeling of competition for me. However im not the kind of person to stick to the same game for years. Variety is bliss.
