![]() It plays music, browses the net--so I can come here, when I'm not at work or home--plays movies, and connects to the PS3 remotely via the inter-web. ![]() The best game I've played on it so far is Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops and Socom. Although I've been dying to play SH: Origins. I'd say it's worth the investment. I don't regret my purchase one bit! | |

Same as tsu-san I havent really touched my home consoles in recent months. My family members are actually surprised and scared of that fact...thats how much of a gamer I used to be. To add its not like I'm not satisfied with my DS either...although the PSP has TONS of more games of my likings available on it, such as Disgaea -The Afternoon of Darkness-, that alone is enough for me. Then theres the Star Ocean series remakes by SquareEnix, Some new FFs, Tales of **** games...and oh so many more. The DS? Lets see FF3, FF4DS that came out yesterday (need to order the damn thing quick!!), Lucky Star Moe Drill, and um....hmmmmm. ...see my point? (Although thats all MY personal taste in games so....) Lets not forget the ownage that the PSP has over the DS with its basic functions here. ~happy PSP'ing to all (I want one dammit!!)

![]() ![]() Credits: 61,124 | Re: Psp O_o; But there are already 3 Tales games on DS... included the latest (Tale of Innocence). I only noticed one on PSP... and it's a port of an already-released game. Seems like the PSP has a lot more lazy Playstation -> PSP ports while DS is more actual remake heavy. I don't like Tales games though... so it's not like it matters ^^;;; And that Moe drill game-- they're buying it back for 6,000 yen O_o; When did that happen? There's a glut of software available for the DS in Japan... the trouble is that most of it's shovelware, nongames and liscenced anime junk. There are some great RPG re-releases, but since most don't have voice or furigana it's not like I can get all that much out of them in a casual gaming experience (I don't usually want to play games chained to my dictionary) ~_~; But looking at the PSP shelf, not that much of it excites me either ![]() |

![]() ![]() Credits: 20,883 | Re: Psp ...not in the US there isnt...not even one of them. What were they again? Tales of the Tempest, ToI that you just mentioned, and....well, I dunno what the other one was. I cant afford to import games right now so I havent checked JP releases...doing so without having money is like torture to me. Just looking but not being able to own. (T^T) Yeah, the LS Moe Drill game is still a huge hit...I still cant get ahold of the 1st original one. I had a chance before, the damn postal service ruined it though. "Sorry, the package was misplaced somewhere along the shipping process"...W-T-F!!!!! (._.)

![]() ![]() Credits: 6,821 | Re: Psp ^_^ well, i'm not much of a PSP girl, but i will admit the hardware itself is pretty good... however, most of the games on the PSP seem to be from suck to adequate, with a few exceptions here and there. the only real "casual" game i can think of for the PSP is Loco Roco cuz it's just rolling your PSP to join little blobs together! yay! but, personally, i think the UMD movies make it a good thing to have while you're on the road!

4.01 M33-2 | Re: Psp We can go on for hours and hours comparing the PSP to the DS and still get nowhere. The best way to figure out if you will truly enjoy it or not is to get a hold of one maybe by borrowing and give it a test drive. It doesn't have to be a new one either. Just know the new ones work better than the older ones.

![]() ![]() Credits: 32,471 | Re: Psp I must admit, my PSP has brought me joy in playing games. Ok its more like arcade style gaming like playing Lumines, and ultimate Block party but Tomb Raider: Anniversary edition isn't that bad as long as the game saves are not altered. I've had to restart the game like 5 times. Of course this time I am going by what a walkthrough said as finding the artifacts and relics are hard for me.
