I like the older stuff. I think gangsta rap is stupid. All they do is rap about the same things. Drugs, money, bitches, hoes, cars, grills, and how much they had it bad growing up. We've heard the same old story over and over again ever since the rise of gangsta rap. Come to think of it, I hate rap.

Hip Hop, on the other hand, totally different. Old school hip hop like Public Enemy, Run DMC, Onyx, and other Hip Hop groups were awesome back in the day. They actually had a message. Nowadays, it's all about what you have and how much you have and how bad people have soldl their soul just for a handful of greenbacks. Not that much people make music just for the music anymore. People make music for the cash money.

im not saying i hate it cause i do listen to it every once in awhile
but im more into old rock,and heavy metal

I'm not a rap fan, i only like bone thugs n' harmony. But i dont think rap today is particularly degrading...it's just the way our society is and you cant take it too seriously.
