Rhymester

I am such a huge fan of Rhymester! They are the self-appointed "King of Stage" and I couldn't agree more! Don't get me wrong, I like other rap groups from Japan, but somethin' about Rhymester just keeps me asking for more from them! With songs like, 'Money' and 'Grey Zone' & 'Prisoner 1, 2, 3'; you can't help but catch yourself sayin' "Wow! These guys are the sh*t!" :laugh:

The one thing I like most about Rhymester is their lyrics. Though my Japanese is pretty basic, I understand a little bit and I like how their lyrics are formed in a unique rhythm. I'm also pretty big on DJ Jin's beats and scratching capability. They're like the perfect hip-hop trifecta--which makes it hard for me to choose a fav out of the trio. If I HAD to choose, I'd say my favorite MC is Utamaru! I love that guy's voice and he sounds like he'd be a funny guy to be around. :D: Although, Mummy D is pretty awesome in his own right.

I love all their songs, but my favorite would have to be 'Prisoner 1,2,3'. It's so smooth and jazzy--plus the song is very progressive. It's pretty much about freedom through music (from what I gather with what little I understand, LOL).

Is anyone else here a big Rhymester fan? What do you like most about them? Who's your favorite MC? Or, are you all about DJ Jin (who also raps on occasion)? What's your favorite song by Rhymester? Why?

<3 for Rhymester. I really like what I've heard of his. I used to listen to a lot of him actually. I really like the one video of theirs that you showed me a while back too. They're pretty freakin hillarious (that was a rhymester video right? You've only shown me one j-rap video.)

And by the way. When you said "trifecta" I totally flashed back to pineapple express. And I giggle my butt off.

Yup, that was a Rhymester video. The one for 'Money', I believe. With all the guys in business suits dancin' around, right? LOL, it's still one of my favorite videos! I gotta show you 'Heat Island' and 'Royal Straight Flush'. Those videos are pretty righteous.
