Ronnie James Dio

any Ronnie Jamies Dio fans.Just found out he died cancer Sunday.\m/

I was shocked when I heard this. I usually didn't like metal but his music was a "Rainbow In The Dark." He will be missed.

Yeah I heard about that, he was a good singer. He lived a pretty full life unlike alot of rockers though and thats all we can be grateful for. I'm just glad it wasn't drugs.

I have to say I'm surprised Ozzie outlasted Ronnie in the end.

You too, Hassun? I found it really hard to believe it at first, but damn. One of the metal gods come crashing down. I really thought it was gonna be Ozzy.......nope. May Dio rock in the afterlife as hard as he did here. His music influenced many and definitely influenced me.

I wonder what Jack Black and Kyle Gass(Tenacious D) has to say about it.

its sad that he died =( but i mean he had an amazing career. Great band and set the stage for current rock. ^^ so i shall think of his music and his legacy

I wonder if he made his peace with God in the end. I heard he mostly sat on the fence back in the day with regard to religion, though he grew up Catholic.
