I've never heard of the comic, but that sounds like it'd make a really good movie if they do the script right.
With IRON MAN 2, CAPTAIN AMERICA and THE AVENGERS all on the upcoming schedule for Marvel Studios, where do they turn to now for their next film? RUNAWAYS. Those of you who stopped collecting comics back in the 1990s might not have any idea what I'm talking about. Launched in 2002, the series follows a group of teens who discover their parents are part of a villainous cabal known as The Pride. They band together to help put a stop to their parents and help make up for the evil they have done. Unlike most superheroes, they wear no costumes, have no nicknames and don't have a "team name." I think it's a smart move by Marvel to show they've got more up their sleeve than the Golden Age heroes they've brought to the screen so far. As WANTED is proving, there's more to comic adaptations than Stan Lee creations. RUNAWAYS was created by "Y: The Last Man" creator and "Lost" writer Brian K. Vaughan with Joss Whedon ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," SERENITY) taking over once Vaughan left. No date is set for RUNAWAYS nor has any talent been announced to write or direct but why not bring Whedon aboard to work his magic?

"What part of Evil don't you understand?"
Hmmm sounds like a group of rebels against a fascist rule to me. Yay Mutiny!
Still the concept is interesting. Might make a decent film. I'll have to check out the comic series.
"And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floorShall be lifted — nevermore!"
^.^ lol I got book 1-4... its really good ^^... but it would be hard to make into a real life movie more over a anime movie would be batter... (with all that happens that is non realistic and stuff...)
death and life are one and the same
