I agree with you, but it does say it was banned as a children's cartoon! I can understand why people think it's inappropriate for children :P.
This was branded as Satanic, or as evil, but i think that that's a bunch of BS. I found this as a piece of art.
This has a great philosophical meaning behind it, i want to hear everyones interpretations of it.
if its confusing, my best advice is to watch it over again until it makes sense.
My View: this is an interpretation, and i see it as a look of art. what i get from it is that the devil sees as a worthless breed, something that can be destroyed or recreated, that we're all just a vision. On the otherhand god views us as something he created, as divine lineage.
heres the link: YouTube - very creepy, disturbing children's cartoon, banned from TV

thats very true, i think it would scare children, and they wouldn't understand its meaning.
Its a very adult theme for a children's cartoon, that's why it was banned. People don't want their children to grow up thinking what they do doesn't matter and that everyone on earth is useless and replaceable. I find it to be a very effective teaching of the idea it's portraying, but this seems more like its talking to the parents of children, not children.
Very interesting animation though, I quite liked it, and wasn't disturbed by its message at all.
If the Crack Fox got aired I think pretty much anything can be, it's all about the context.
I agree. it shouldn't have been aimed at for kids, think about it.
Kids don't know how messed up the world is yet, i think this would mess them up. i didn't find it disturbing, but i did find it interesting, and Satan's voice was creepy.
"who are you?", "An Angel", "what's your name?", "Satan".
the only thing that puzzles me is that, if he was referring to himself as an angel wouldn't he say Lucifer?. oh well..
context is very important, I agree, but crack fox was meant to be comedic. The mark twain cartoon had a very very different tone, it was serious about its topic. Not to say that themes like that couldn't be presented in other contexts like you said, but in the raw form that the twain cartoon presents it, no way.
yeah i would agree its a little creepy my cousin just watched with me accidentally and he got really absorb and its scared the crap out of that 10 year old but im suprised i never heard about it, its got 8 million views
