Actually this is just one clip from the film, the rest of the film is actually quite undisturbing and boring. It's based on the life and writings of Mark Twain, The Mysterious Stranger is one of them... though not really meant for children, it's in this cartoon just as part of his work.

I'd love to see the original film, it looks like it has a lot of meaning.

you COULD just read Mark Twain books instead. Maybe try to refute his infamous quote about classics a little bit, rather getting the synopsis from a claymation cartoon. ;>

But the claymation in this film is so well done! That's pretty much the only reason I watched it, since I find Mark Twain's work to be rather boring.

oh dear god. That is creepy. It's just a bunch of creepy clay people. And, how the heck did Mark Twain end up in this? And, "what's your name?" "SATAN" omg. i laughed. Why would they name a cartoon character after Satan? wtf.

"The people" banned it.... Ha ha ha, and only my closest friends would know why I found that to be funny.

But this is hands down some of the best claymation I have ever seen! Simply based on subject matter.

Though I don't know that I agree about it being a God Vs. Satan thing. The "Satan" character kept saying "We" "We could make more people if we need them". I know that God and the Devil are work together.

And hey, on a quantum level this whole animated flick has some truth to it.

i think it represents children getting there firsts kicks into the reality, and at one point in a childs mind, they have to make a choice of they want or wish to do as they grow into adulthood, its lyk a good n bad choice, like highschool how u see friend frm primary an there algud, then once they hit highschool they find alcohol n drugs and act lyk they never knew u. well thats my opinion
