It doesnt look like they botched this movie, unlike how they botched resident evil......yuk. They kept the same music and same great story(well, they changed it a little bit)
Here it is, for anyone whos curious:
After her daughter has reocuring dreams of a city(silent hill), her mother doesnt want to believ she is crazy. Her husband and doctor believe she needs help, but the mother doesnt beleive them and runs away to silent hill with her daughter. When closing in to silent hill, something jumps in the road, the mother swervs, and the car chrashes. She wakes up to a note from her daughter saying to go to silent hill(sorry i dont know the names bc in the game u were her husband...)
hopefully.. this won't be a disappointed.. ^^;

I've seen a lot of crappy movie versions of pretty good games..

I don't want to sound like some pessimist, but I'm so afraid they'll follow the classic game movie pattern which is so tired and predicable. I just know they'll screw it up!
... Darn.... That did sound pessimistic!
