Thread: Soul Calibur 4

i hav Soul Calibur 4 for PS3 so i hav Darth Vader who is totally ownage.

but SC4 is a great game. i really enjoy the tower of lost souls but im stuck on floors 57-59 ascending. its so freakin hard. and my friend and i have gone 29 floors descending.

i miss all the custom jobs you could hav in SC3 but the character customization is much more in depth. i like that you can change the color of most things down to the finest detail but i dont like how the armor you choose changes your stats and your skills. i sorta forces you to stick with the best stuff instead of how you want to look.

story mode is fun and much shorter. it is much easier to get through the story line.

i cant say aything about online since i dont hav it.

over all SC4 is a great game and i really enjoy it. it isnt perfect but it isnt far off either.

P.S.: Tira is my character, and i am total pwnage with her.

Yoda should never be used in a serious match. He's completely unbalanced.
I'm really digging Hilde, the most interesting SoulCalibur character I've seen since the series started.

Hilde is either unstoppable, or pathetic, depending on the skills of the two players. my best character is Mitsurugi, he is like my own personal cheat code. and i have figured out what was wrong with my online, my A button WAS stuck lol. i'm racing through the ranks now, just like i should be.

My verdict for Soul Calibur 4...

7/10, It looks great, it's quite fun. My setbacks is the story mode isn't as good as SC3, some of the voices weren't that great, and the Star Wars characters made it really weird to me..it Made no sense for Darth Vader to be there..or Yoda..0.0. What i truly liked, is that the character creation was done a bit better this time around. SC4 was good, but 3 was still the best SC game..

I have tried the game at my friend house, and its ok. The graphics are awsome but its ok for game play and storyline. Darth Vader is ok for storyline and his power is ok
