There was news a few years ago that they were making a movie about the games, sadly, i got cancelled. As for the games, my favorite has always been the first one because i liked the camera angles when you grapple opponents.

Yeah I think it would make a good movie if they had good graphics and story line. It may not be the greatest game made into a movie but I would definitely give it a shot.

this game gots to hit #1, i played it, nightmare and mitsurigi look better than in the soul calibur 2, and we kept playing soon we betted money on who gets beaten in 7 rounds lol i lost alot of cash

I think film should stay away from SC.
As stated before, these films usually suck and SC doesn't even have a good story to begin with.

Soul Calibur? A good story line? That's funny. The fact is that fighter game movies suck worse than any other video game movie. (case in point, Street Fighter.) I don't know why you would compare it to FF7, because the only reason that became a movie was because of the large fan base in FF, without that support Square-Enix would never had wasted its time. Besides, Soul Calibur, although a great fighting game, isn't that well known. People have heard of games like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat and even Tekken, but Soul Caliber hasn't had as many games, and none of them were exactly ground-breaking.
