Thread: Street Fighter 4

I actually don't really mind. I guess I prefer SF to be 2D but without the mirrored sprites.
On the other hand the style of the trailer would be ridiculously awesome as well.

Im hoping 3D, just because it'd be super sweet. The traditional 2D was cool, but it got old

If they make it 3-d, I'll be dissapointed! I love me some 2-d fighting action. 3-d games are cool too, but they tried making a 3-d Street Fighter (EX) and it's good, but not that good.

I hear that SFIV is supposed to be the final installment of the franchise. That they're gonna conclude everyone's stories and--rumor be told--it will have every face that's ever graced the world of Street Fighter!

I'm really lookin' forward to it! I've been waiting for years and years, and now it's finally past the rumor phase! I'm excited as hell! ^_^ I think the animation should remain 2-d--Keep it old school! And it better be TONS better than SFIII: Third Strike. There's only one 2-d fighter that's better than Third Strike and that's Capcom vs. SNK 2.

I have been wanting to play this game since I heard of it prduction. I really love both 2D and 3D fighters but I think that when it comes down to the street fighter games you shouldn't try to fix something that isn't broken. The 2D system works perfectly fine and the fans of the games like it thats what really matters. So overall I think it will own if its 2D and if its 3D I'll still give it a chance just because of its name.

I find it funny that just because some Xbox exec tells people to "watch the trailer VERY carefully" it turns into the friggin Zapruder film. Seriously there is even a video that dissects the trailer bit by bit. I've always been a SF fan but I'm indifferent to 2D or 3D. I'll probably pick it up and play it either way.

*shrudders* yuck... street fighters? thats kinda old.. but to think of it... i like King of Fighters more and it's in KOF2007 it's in 3D so... maybe so will Street Fighter

Gah... i am not so into this game or the anime...

What they need to do is keep the same perspective (Side on veiw), then make everything else 3-D.

This is going to be a Next-Gen title, so why not use everything that is available to you graphics-wise?
