I have always seen the better defensive team take it in the Super Bowl, and I doubt it'll be different this time around. I want Manning to win. But reality is reality.

Bears over Colts.

I have been watching the Super Bowl for over ten years now, and I have to say that this is one of the best matchups I have seen in a long time. It is going to be interesting to see how Manning handle the Bears Defense on the biggest stage of them all. My prediction is that the Colts survive a shootout over the Bears and win 31-28.

Anyways, Pyoro, I think if we've learned anything this year it is that stuff that "always" happens didn't seem to happen very much. For example, look at that game Indy had against KC. KC is "always" running the ball down people's throats but you didn't see that happen during that game. LJ got completely shut down. There are other, and probably better examples but I don't feel like naming them all.

ok trunks i am a monster football fan just i was bizzy, and just logged on. i have owned madden 96 to madden 07 and have played them all. havent you heard that peyton manning banged his finger against a new england helmet during one drive in the fourth quater. if you didnt notice, the throws were a little off centered. ok, peyton will get killed by the defence. lets look at the defensive backs for the bears. first the cb's ; tillman and vasher, both have 3-5 picks apiece and have a nice height so they can step infront of the pass. linebacker corpse, obviously the big man urlacher, but dont forget briggs on the right side, cuz with that colts weak running offence, the right and left side is gone, so a few good blitzes and maybe throw in a 3-4 defence with a third cornerback playing as linebacker for the blitz, its totally shut down. for offence on the bears, friggan muslin mohhamed will tear up the colts defence, because their d ranked up 26th in the league i think, and mohammed has 800 reception yards, spelling $$$ money in the bank. why? cuz grossman is a developing qb, and last year, he started 2 games. but if you heard, he follows up a crap game (bears vs saints, 114 pass yards ) with an amazing 300 + yard game, and what better way to make a great game at the superbowl. and my overall standing is that if the colts can cause some turnovers from grossman and their running back (hasnt had too many fumbles) thomas jones, they can stay alive. cuz think of it like this;
colts offence passing - A+
bears offence passing - B+
colts offence rushing - B- (rhodes has less than 700 yrds)
bears offence rushing - B+
colts defence rushing - B-
bears defence rushing - A+
colts defence passing - B
bears defence passing - A
this game is gonna be bout making your weakest link (colts-defence/bears-grossman) into your greatest link. and for sure, ima keep peepin this thread to drop my 2 cents

@Raimann, lol, it's definitely great to see another expert perhaps now we can have a few more sports threads to discuss with. Anyways, hopefully Manning will play with a healed thumb, and Bears get to have Tank Johnson to go to Miami to play. Otherwise I would hate it for people to say what if this, and what if that.

thx pyo for the love, and i just showed that silverskater145 isnt the only one thats the expert. and manning will play with a healed finger, because ive heard that manning is using a tiny incubation chamber (yes you read that right) for his finger. may i remind you that a tiny incubation chamber, even used for a week, still is costly. and tank johnson will have fun with the defense as long as dwight freeny is taken well by the left guard, but if not, tank and grossman will have some trouble. and i wait here, happily pondering the responce to my post by silver. and lol @ pyo for reading everything :P
