Are You A Fan Of Tekken? Explain why? who is your favorite character? explain why and tell us how you got into it.

well how i got into this game (i only played it 2 times but it was still fun ^_^) was when i was waiting for a movie at the theatre, when i got bored of waiting, so i went to the arcades, they had tekken 5 there and i was like "seet i love heihachi" becuz of the PS2 version of SC2 so i played it and i loved Devil Jin..wow he was awesome ...and hot...lmao but it was a nice fighting game(ask anyone who knows me as the fighter queen ^.^) pretty fun

I'm a Tekken fan!!! I have all of them except the first one (My brother broke it). I like it cause it has action and it has different story head lines that connect together. My favorite character is June even though she died.....

And I got to it cause of my relatives. They showed me how to play and love the game!!!

id have to say im a fan of tekken beacuase ive played all the games including the normal arcade versions jin is my favorite character beacuase of his fighting style im into it beacuase any game related to fighting such as tekken and mortal combat usualy seems funner then other games

For me the Tekken series is the current king of the 3D beat 'em ups.

It's deep, enjoyable for both beginners and advanced gamers and has a list of very interesting characters. On top of that, the main storyline is actually not so bad for a fighting game.

I am not a fan of fighting games what so ever. Well..MK is the only one I have ever enjoyed and that wasn't even that amazing either. I find it repetative with limited moves. It doesn't matter if there are 10000 if you can perform most in a matter of seconds or pull out the special ones at anytime. Memorising the the moves is the only thing I find interesting and I would spend every second playing if that was all there was to do.

Also, the games aren't very difficult to play. I have gone online for numerous titles and there isn't much there. Doing the same move over and over ..or just comming across the impossible "gamers" so they say. Stupid aspect really.

I ejoyed the Tekken anime though. I thought it was pretty good myself, but I wish they had come out with a sequel to end it. It would ahve been nice to see all of the fighters comming out and opening up a serious can of woop ass!

I agree with you, i got into tekken because of my father(yes, he is a gamefreak juss like me) and at first my favorite character was kazuya intil tekken 4 came out then it was jin. it's jin now cuz is fighting style changed for the better, he's a well balanced fighter and like Hassun said"it is the king of the 3d beat um ups.

Getting into Tekken was pretty much inevitable. I grew up on Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, GG, Marvel Super Heroes, KOF... it is therefore impossible that I could have missed Tekken.

I didn't play it as much as I did the others, though, mainly because I didn't own it.

I'd play at my cousin's or friend's place, and I almost always picked Hwoarang because he's the most kickass character IMO. Only played up to Tekken 5 though.

Its ok, but wasn't really that hard. Virtual fighter was much harder and more enjoyable. I liked street fighter better also, it too was a great challenge on the hardest setting.
