Thread: Tomorrow I am getting a DS lite

Hmmm, well I personally do not have a DS. My friend got one pretty recently, he likes Custom Robo for the DS. I cannot tell you how it plays, or anything truth be told.
One game I do think is pretty decent (from what I have played of it) Castlevania.....I do not know the rest of the name....sorry.
I suppose this does not help much XD.
You could try browsing around EB Games website. They normally give me some decent ideas of what to get.

Front Mission is a good tactic game! by Honey Bun loves it!

as for action, Rocket Slime was very cutely action-y with lots of puzzle elements! it's a little childish, but it's very lite on the heart which is good for you! and if you're up for it, Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends is a good use of any 2 hours! not very strategic or action-y, but sure as hell fun once you get the hang of it!

Since you like strategy I would recommend Advance Wars (Dual strike or the upcoming Days of Ruin or boths) and FF12 Revenant Wings(plays a bit like an RTS)

For action I would recommend Lunar Knights and Megaman ZX (or ZX Advent)

Must have:
Mario Kart DS-I kid you not, even if you're not a fan of racing games, absolute best game on the DS. Easy, but very fun. Gets competitive online too if you're into that.

Starfox DS-It has some strategy in this one, you've got plot out what you're going to kill and beat the time limit and whatnot, its pretty addictive, plus, multiple endings, so pretty good replay value. You use more than just Fox in this one too. Starwolf, everyone.

New Super Mario Bros.- old school mario feel, easy, fun, if you're into retro at all.

You'd probably like Advanced Wars and Final Fantasy as well. If you're feeling really ambitous, give Metroid a shot. If you're a regular FPS gamer, you might hate it, but if you're into action, I'd give metroid a look.
