I have thought the same thing about toonami disappearing. Then what would they do with the
time slots and would they dare put something to replace toonami.

I don't know how Samurai Jack would end, but if they did put something new on what would it be.

And what is the deal with the robots on toonami anyway, I miss TOM.

Thanks for posting this commemt, by the way, I've been wondering about this for some time now.

I must agree. Toonami is going down like a sinking ship. The only thing good on is Naruto and even then I am not a big fan of it so I hardly even watch it any more. They really need to bring back some good shows. I heard some one say zoids and I agree, zoids was fun to watch. What also bugs me is that the good shows they did have left moved them to a later time. Now I have no problem is staying up till 12:00 at night to watch a good show but 1 to 2:30am?! Screw that.

I heard rumors of a Samurai Jack Movie, Maybe toonami could show that as a special premiere. I just want to see Samurai Jack kick ahcu's butt.

    Re: toonami-is it falling apart

Personally I think that Cartoon Network is going down the hole as a whole. But c'mon, it was just a matter of time. CN used to air the "old classics", and than began their CN originals...like Dexter's Lab and so on...heck, I cant remember the others. Now almost what they air entirely is their CN originals, Toonami and the [adult swim] is our safe haven in the network...well, atleast it used to be.

Toonami surely has fallen from its place in the top, without Naruto it would've been dead long ago. (Although the new "Blue Dragon" may give us some hope yet...) But it truly has lost everything when shows such as Gundam and ZOIDS left the line up. ZOIDS had a good run..atleast til the "/0" (Slash Zero) season. I recall that they tried airing "Fuzors" but I must admit that that one was the disappointment of the ZOID TV series. And what happened to ONEPIECE? Things were finally looking like it was picking up and BAM!! Its gone....thats one big mistake. Samurai Jack was one true success of the CN originals. Why they stopped airing it I dont know why. Its a blessing that they've brought it back onto the [adult swim] segment now though...with enough support we just may be lucky enough to get new episodes.

...I miss the old "TOM"s...the first two (the first two I've known) were the coolest looking. The tiny little one that his entire body was as large as his head and the second one which was the taller version of that...oh where have they gone? (T^T) Come back TOMs...we miss you.

As for [adult swim]...well, I'll take my thoughts to the other thread on it: whats up with adult swim
