Uh I was just wondering.(Thead about a game)

Have any of you heard about a game called Baroque that gonna be released by Atlus and is an action RPG the U.S. official site has been up too,I think it looks interesting story,the story that is,I'm waiting to play the game when it comes out which it comes out in 02/2008 according to the Atlus game site,to see what gameplay is like.

Anyway have any of you guys heard of this game or have seen trailers of this game?I'd be happy to post some if you guys want.-^__^-

I'm fairly interested in Baroque, personally. The Wii has been lagging when it comes to good action RPGs, so hopefully Baroque will fill that void, despite it also being developed for PS2.
One of the interesting features I think has to be that there isn't a game over, and sometimes dieing actually pushes the story forward, or reveals something you wouldn't have known without having it happen. It also sounds refreshingly dark, plotwise.

I think the major point against it are the mediocre graphics, but I don't think that'd stop me from getting it when money becomes available.

Also, the music in the trailer is awesome.

Yup I like the music too,heh yeah graphics don't look to bright but there ok to me I don't mind them since I ususlly look at the artwork and story which in Baroques case is interestingly dark.-^__^-

the Baroque remake has been out in Japan for over a year... but it's not a Wii game ^^; It's for the PS2. (wƒoƒƒbƒNx‚*‚Ì–¼ìRPG‚ª•œŠˆ!! / ƒtƒ@ƒ~’Ê.com)

The original was on Saturn in the late 90s (along with my favorite, oddly similar RPS series "Black Matrix")

One would think that, but Wii-makes of PS2 games are all the rage these days!

I had no idea it was a Saturn remake though. The reviews are rather concerning, but if it is indeed shovelware as they say;

a. I now know why it's going to Wii.
b. At least it will be better than Ninjabread Man.
