Well I don't know about you guys, but I don't see my video game addiction lessening at the moment, EVEN when I get a job.
Thank God for handheld game systems and internet cafes.
I won't even put myself in a state of denial.
I'm atomik_sprout and I'm a video game addict.
"Hello, Sprout!"
It's not as bad as it used to be. I guess it's because I'm older now. Either way, I love gaming. It's always been a big part of my life, like drawing or playing/listening to music. It's fun! I can't leave my house without my PSP or my DS. I gotta have a game to play while on the go. If I were to quit smoking cigarettes, I'd probably be playing a lot more video games than I already do--or ever used to. LOL.

I don't think I'm addicted to video games.
Video game addiction would basically mean that I am isolating myself more and more and start to shun social contacts.
That's not the case. No single video game can be as important as meeting with friends.
Although, if "Skipping homework in order to play video games" really is a definite factor of being addicted to video games, you could say that I used to be one in my WoW times. Because I played a lot then and was sometimes simply too lazy to do my homework, so I just stuck with WoW. Then again, I might not have done my homework anyway, doesn't matter if there's a video game preventing me from doing so or not.
You are now breathing manually. :P
