    Way of the Samurai

Way of the Samurai in my opinion was a sleeper hit. (If that is what you call it, I forget) It was an older PS2 game where you played a ronin samurai who just comes to town. The town has its problems concerning gangs, corrupt magistrates, the closing to the age of samurai, etc.

In the first title you had 3 days to do what you wanted. You could help the townspeople, the gangs, the magistrates, or just kill random people for 3 days. The game had 6 endings to it. You are able to beat it within an hour, but the main thing was the replay value. The second one was set up quite similar, just a different town, story, and a few other upgrades.

One of the biggest things of the game was collecting the different weapons. Each weapon had its own set of moves that you could learn after using them for so long. As well as seeing all the endings.

Overall the game was great in my opinion. Very well done, and great for someone who likes samurais. (Which is like everyone right lol)

I want to hear your thoughts on the game.
    Have you played it ever?
Have you gotten all the stuff?
    Have a favorite sword?
And for those who have not played it or heard of it:
    How would you play it?
    As a strict do gooder?
Or would you stray from the path of righteousness to kill as you wish?

It wasn't really a sleeper hit. It wasn't a hit at all as far as I know.
I did play it though, since it was kind of another take on the classic tale of Yojimbo.
The concept was cool but the total lack of saving while you're playing could get annoying. If I had to go during play I could only leave it on or lose all the progress I made.

I suppose calling it was Sleeper Hit might have been pushing it. That is a little opinion based there. The saving feature was fixed on the 2nd one. You were pretty free to save when you wanted to. Which was nice, I also did have that issue on the first one.
