i am guessing that it is just a sprite movie to entertain some people because amv is technically a comedian group that do comedy voice overs over anime and stuff. the only game that comes to mind is super smash bros because this is the only game that combines anime characters from most sagas.

    Re: what game is this?

Instantly figured out what game it was within 3 seconds of the first video. It's M.U.G.E.N.

M.U.G.E.N - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Street Mugen - Make your own 2D fighter with M.U.G.E.N !

Mugen does not originate from Japan. And it comes with language installers of all kinds.

Edit: Oh and one more thing. Mugen doesn't come pre installed with any characters, stages, or anything, at all. You have to go find it around the internet and build the fighting game yourself. Plus, if you're a serious fighting fan, there's still the matter of balancing the characters, so they don't become overpowered like Brolly was in that video. Characters and stages can be pretty much anything you can think of(anime, comic books, games, etc), and someone has probably made a M.U.G.E.N. version of it, and has released it on the net.

There is a game that's import only right now, D O N, which contains Dragonball, One piece and Naruto characters in it, but that is about it. It is not an "Official" game, however.

but i was reading this. ' "Mugen"(無限) in Japanese means "infinite", therefore the latter could be the suggested pronunciation. Whether M.U.G.E.N's acronym origin is simply the Japanese word Mugen, but spaced out by periods or the acronym just coincidentally spelt an existing word out is debatable. However, Elecbyte claims to have forgotten what the acronym M.U.G.E.N stood for, but documentation states that its meaning referred to the days when the engine was meant to emulate shooting games as opposed to fighting games. Kung Fu Man's documentation has Japanese comments to go along with some of the English ones. So having no official acronym for M.U.G.E.N, it wouldn't be entirely unrealistic to conclude that the Japanese meaning was intended, despite what the provided documentation states. Lacking communication with Elecbyte, the real meaning of the acronym M.U.G.E.N may always be unknown.' so i beleive that who ever made this game made it on an adaptation of a japanese word.

    I'm sorry, let me rephrase...

M.U.G.E.N. "the game" does not originate from Japan. I didn't mean the actual word, but good find.
