    What happend to the "punk" bands

    Ya know i was fiddling through my old cd's and i found Simple plan, good charollete, Blink 182 man good times what ever happend to those bands anyone know?

    well (excleding blink 182) I think that all of those bands are still around but they were replaced by bands like chem. romance, greenday (at least the cds I have), red jumpsuit apps and many others
    so dont worry ther are still punk bands the famous ones are just catagorized as simply metal or rock

    They aged and grew up. I know it sounds ridiculous, but that happens with the passing of time. Damn our dieing bodies, damn them!!!

    Oh yeah, with time also comes more fads and the new "hottness".

    I listen to it occacisonally but i was just wondering is all because they just stopped being herd in casual conversations and no longer do you hear on the radio " Simple plans new song!!" So i was just curious im a Killswtich engage and sugarcult fan now im out of the punk rock phase but i do still listen to it every now and then

    its b/c the mainstream decided to like Rap and Hip-Hop. with their fanbase gone, they had to either go more rockish or more popish.
