I'm listening to Smile like you mean it by the Killers. I love the way this band sounds! It reminds me of good songs from the late 80s. I've never seen them in concert but I would love to! I've heard they put on a good show. I'm sure I will eventually see them because I love to go to concerts and then I'll give an update.

I'm listening to Perdeski Cloyn by Kanno Yoko.

She (Kanno) happens to be my second favourite Japanese composer (my favourite's Sakimoto Hitoshi). There is nothing she can't compose! I absolutely love the blend of the oriental, almost tribal-style singing, traditional wooden drums and Asian string instruments in this song. The electric guitar just serves to soup it up all the more, and the fiddle gives it a somewhat Irish touch. Awesome singing, though, though I have no idea what the words mean (I don't even know what language they're singing in).

I don't know if it's just my imagination, but I think there's a shakuhachi playing in the background...



Majin : Chain is an awesome song. It's just too bad I'm not a guy. It sounds weird when I do the rapping bit. >__>

Johnny's Jr - Fuyu Medley (live from Shounen Club)


I love Johnny's Jr because they're so vibrant. They have a bunch of really happy songs you can sing along and dance to, and Ikuta Toma has such a nice voice. It's a little like Tackey's voice (Takizawa Hideaki of Tackey & Tsubasa) but... nicer. And the actual performance of the Fuyu Medley @ Shounen Club was really fun to watch. The guys of Johnny Jr are really good dancers. (not sure if they were lip-synching or not, tho)
