A sweet song, especially in the idea that real love is not just about desperately wanting someone to be with you. The "Found and lost..." part always reminds me of the Beauty and the Beast title song. For anyone familiar with vocal songs on Yoko Kanno's other OSTs, James Wendt sounds sort of like a cross between Steve Conte and Scott Matthew. Almost John Mayer-ish.

Right I'm listening to "Old Piano" - Frou frou this time I'm really glad I sought out this song... it's so relaxing and soft it makes you feel kind of warm inside - and Immi's voice is almost orgasmic ^_^

There's only four lines, repeated twice, but that's just enough. Part of the enjoyment is listening to the music. It's warm, but it sounds sad at the same time with a hint of jazz. A nice touch is the sounds of rain in the background. Makes me think of a barely conscious person curling up with someone in a small room, that's only lit by the blinking fireplace and the sound of rain coming somewhere ~_~ (listening hard between the vocal parts it kind of sound like someone's talking..)

Oooh, I like Frou frou's "Old Piano" too.

I'm currently listening to Kotoko's Garasu no Kaze album - and I can't say I'm too pleased with it because frankly, I find a lot of the songs in it boring (with the exception of older, more familiar tracks like Re-sublimity and Tameiki Clover). The only thing I like about this album is the fact that Kotoko sings in a slightly deeper voice than usual for most of the tracks. But I don't like the fact that the album lacks Kotoko's usual upbeat enthusiasm. Arrrrrrghhhh.
