Re: What Are You Listening To Now? Redux
Recently I've been listening to Owl City. I'm usually not into the mainstream crap but I really really like Fireflies. It reminds me of childhood and being silly. The video is hilarious. I really enjoyed it. I recommend it to anyone who wants something a little whimsical to listen to.
Re: What Are You Listening To Now? Redux
I dont know,. ive been kinda hooked on the disney mainstream crap, such as Demi Lovato... especially a gift of a friend... i have been listning to it non stop
Quote:
Sometimes I think you'll be fine by yourself
Cause a dream is a wish you make all alone
It's easy to feel like you don't need help
But it's harder to walk on your own
You'll change inside
When you realize
The world comes alive
And there'llbe things for I
From beginning to end
When you have a friend
By your side
That helps you find
The beauty of all when you'll open your heart
And believe in
The Gift of a Friend
The Gift of a Friend
Someone who knows when your lost and
Your scared
There through the highs and lows
Someone you can count on, someone who cares
Beside you wherever you go
You'll change inside
When you realize
The world comes to life
And there'll be things for I
From beginning to end
When you you have a friend
By your side
That helps you find
The beauty of all when you open your hearts
And believe in
The Gift of a Friend
And when your hope crashes down
Shattering to the ground
You'll, You'll feel all alone
When you don't know which way to go
And there's no such leading you on
You're not alone
The world comes to life
And there'll be things for I
From beginning to end
When you have a friend
By your side
That helps you find
The beauty of all when you open your heart
And believe in
When you can believe
You can believe in

Re: What Are You Listening To Now? Redux
Man, and it's not like it's even that hard to do that...
Oh well...
Anyways, I've been listening to Muse a lot more at the request of a friend. Well, their new album anyways, and I've got to say I love the song Uprising.
It's like a blend of both future and past music styles, and like most of their songs, has one of those "hidden messages" that grip me so dearly and lovingly. I love the background musics to it as well, especially the "So Come on!" that happen every once in a while. Just adds to the overall beat in my opinion. Very good. Adds to my already high reputation of them.
Here's the lyrics:
Quote:
The paranoia is in bloom, the PR
The transmissions will resume
They'll try to push drugs
Keep us all dumbed down and hope that
We will never see the truth around
(So come on!)
Another promise, another scene, another
A package not to keep us trapped in greed
With all the green belts wrapped around our minds
And endless red tape to keep the truth confined
(So come on!)
Chorus
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Interchanging mind control
Come let the revolution take its toll if you could
Flick the switch and open your third eye, you'd see that
We should never be afraid to die
(So come on!)
Rise up and take the power back, it's time that
The fat cats had a heart attack, you know that
Their time is coming to an end
We have to unify and watch our flag ascend
Chorus
They will not force us anekatips.com
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Hey .. hey ... hey .. hey!
(repeat)
Chorus
They will not force us
They will stop degrading us
They will not control us
We will be victorious
Hey .. hey ... hey .. hey!
(repeat)

"Subterranean" by Tommy Tallarico
This is some amazing work. Not only is Tommy an amazing musician to begin with, but he's started with nothing and is now a multi-award winning composer for video games.
Re: What Are You Listening To Now? Redux

im really depress and lonely this song just comforts me
Re: What Are You Listening To Now? Redux
I am listening to Inama Nushif. It is a slow but powerful song that has the intensity of an approaching storm. The songs name translates to She is Eternal in Fremen. The language of the Fremen of Dune. It was released in 2003 as part of the soundtrack to the mini-series Children of Dune. Coincidentally the singer is Iranian which is cool considereing that the Fremen in the book are from a desert planet.

For some reason people are stupid and are saying the song is instrumental when CLEARLY Bill Leeb is singing.... I hate when people do this. It's a good song and I want to READ THE LYRICS!
