What Are You Listening To Now? Redux

The Kaossilator is a touch pad synthesizer developed by Japanese company Korg. Korg has some really good products, but I'm not too fond of the Kaossilator for the whole touch pad thing, I thought it was cool and unique at first, I demoed it at the store and I liked it, but when I started making tracks I would get very frustrated because of how delicate the touch pad is where I could lean my finger to the right a wee bit and the note changes and I curse loudly. I prefer keys with my synthesizer, I'm probably gonna sell this (for some reason everyone loves the Kaossilator) and get a Roland JP-8000 since I am amazed by its trance sounds and I was very happy with the SH-201.

Right now I am listening to "Die Wellen" by Einsturzende Neubauten.

This song is obviously about lovers separated. While it is an excellent song featuring a great vocalist doing the female lead I never heard it until seeing trailers for the movie Dead John.

I have discovered the Korg DW-8000 and I the demos for it are amazing which has sent me spiraling into my iTunes to play some Tommy Tallarico music. GREAT synth stuff.

Airplane part II by B.O.B.

This is a delightful song. The singer has a beautiful voice. The songs instrumentals are excellent and soothing. Marshal Mathers was does an excellent rap about himself. B.O.B. Also does an upbeat but serious rap.

Supercell - Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari

Everything the use of piano along with the guitar! In addition the voice of the singer is great!!

Listening to "Dino" by Harmonia. I got this Krautrock compilation CD at a record store in St. Louis and this is my first time listening to this CD and it's pretty good so far, but I wish there were more electronic stuff in it I mean after all the CD is called "Deutsche Elektronische Musik" yet there is all of this guitar and percussion stuff that you don't hear in normal Krautrock like Kraftwerk.
