Yeah, I will admit, she does have a nice voice. If her songs are on, its not something I readily say "That has GOT to go off." I'm quite happy listening to some of her material. <3

Personally, I've always been a bit vague on those shows, seems to be too much money-laundering and fixing contestants in it now, and even though she's obviously talented to some degree, I think the show spoiled it, simply out of its increasingly iffy reputation for the call-in votes. : ( Granted, I cant remember a SINGLE other singer from that particular contest, so I suppose its only fair that she won. xD But she DID seem like... VERY early on, to be the shoe-in. Not a very exciting season overall.

I just wish people would stop referring to her as like, Mariah Carey 2 or whatever. >:I -Huffs-

Do you have her albums, cds or whatever? I've never really bought them. ;_;

Well i do have the album called Spirit, but i don't know if she have made other albums or singles ^^ but they call her that?? The Mariah Carey 2!! she is good but i wouldn't say that good :p

Yeah, apparently when she first started on the show thats what a lot of papers or something were referring her as. Thank god thats died down now. -__-;; If I became much more successful at my manga say, for example, the LAST thing I'd be wanting to be called would be like, "OMFG STEPH IS THE NEXT RUMIKO TAKAHASHI!!!" or something.

You are who you are, you aren't a repeat of someone else just because of how talented or good you are at doing something. :(:

I think Mariah Carey and Leona Lewis are kindof on the same pitch and singing style in my opinion, their both very nice lil' singers. I'm a little choosy in which of their songs I particularly like, but yeah, both are pretty nice. <3

heh lol yeah that's true, but i do think Mariah Carey is better than Leona Lewis, well so far at least, Leona is still sorta new, but i think that she can improve alot :p
