What Are You Listening To Now? Redux

I noticed the demand has gone up recently so here it is, back and stricter than ever!

To avoid a spam fest there are rules to respect:

1) Thou shalt write more than just the artist and the song's name.

E.g.

What you like about the artist/song/music.

Interesting facts about the song/artist.

Lyrics + what's so special about them.

Etc.

Basically through this thread you'll be recommending certain songs or artists to other people so try convince a potential fan!

2) Thou shalt wait at least 30 minutes after posting before posting in this thread again.
(This will be enforced to the Staff's liking. We may or may not penalize you for doing it. It depends on if we think you're deliberately spamming or not.)

3) Thou shalt use quotation tags ([quote]) or spoiler tags ([spoiler]) for the lyrics if thou wished to include them.

I'll leave it at that for now but the rules might change to meet the circumstances. If the rules change, this first post will be updated accordingly.

This was from their 2004 album "Once". This was one of the last albums before the original singer, Tarja Turunen, was fired. She was fired because of her attitude and lack of interest, paving the way for the current singer, Anette Olzon.

I personally like this song because I feel it took, advantage of Tarja's trademark operatic soprano voice, as well as the full array of orchestral sounds from the keyboardist who's name i forget.

Anyway, these guys are a symphonic metal band. Heavy guitars mixed with the sounds of an orchestra. Certainly a reccomendation for anyone wanting something off the beaten path.

Plus, for those of you on YTMND, the "epic maneuver" music is their song "Ghost Love Score" from the same album mentioned above.

When You Come - Crowded House.

I added Reccuring Dream to my collection without knowing anything about CH, and I have been pleasantly surprised. They have many good songs, most upbeat and happy which suits my tastes well.
