Thread: what is your favorite final fantasy movie?

How many final fantasy films do you think there are?

i know that there's a final fantasy: the spirits within... but... i don't think that there was that many... ... am I wrong? I haven't seen any others.. so i can't really say I have a favorite...

My favorite Final Fantasy Movie is Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children!

There was only 2 actual Final Fantasy movies. Spirits Within was crappy. Advent Children was very well made and entertaining. So if I had to choose I would choose the latter. Spirits Within was too weak and shouldn't have been made.

well i haven't seen advent Children yet.. >< *sighs* i want too.. I see youtube clips of it when I search for songs but.. still.. I wanna see it.

advent children is alright, i hate to say this but most of the final fantasy movies just seem to please the eyes. well for me anyway, some many things u wont get unless u played the game, which makes sense since its the movie for the fans of the game. and yes i never did play the game, which is way i think its alright.

also correct me if i'm wrong, but was spirits within the movie that made square soft belly up, and then they merged or something to become square ink?. i'm pretty sure they didn't break even with that movie.

Hmmm...y'know that theres only a handful of FF derived movies right? The obvious titles being "Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children", "Final Fantasy -Spirits Within-", and if they count as "movies" than theres "FF7AC:Last Order", "Final Fantasy Unlimited"(Ok, this is rather a series than a movie but...), and I've seen two OVAs named "Final Fantasy", which I've last seen about 10yrs ago on VHS.
