I tried it once (and similar games like this) but it's just too boring for me.
I guess my imagination is a bit rotten...

Tactile Studies Rules is correct. D&D first got it start when TSR added fantasy rules extensions for their 'Chainmail' table top miniatures rule booklet (first elves, dwarfs and dragons, later orcs and hobbits and heros) which led to the first three D&D booklets for RPG rules, (which still used the Chainmail rules for fantasy combat...)

i dont see anything wrong with the game. it is just a game. i dont know why ppl make such a big deal out of nothing. same with magic the gathering. nothing wrong with it.
Why is everything so ****ing hard for me? Keep me down to what you think I should be! Must you tempt me and provoke the ministry? Keep on trying I'm not dying so easily!

If you know the early history of D&D, within the first two years after the creation of the game, a couple of students in Utah killed themselves while playing live action 'D&D' in the sewers. This triggered a response from church and civil groups about 'Devil Worship' games, and TSR did very little to discourage the protests. (They even had Priests volunteering to write letters in support of the game, which TSR declined to publish...) At game conventions I attended at the time, designers from other game studios were complaining that TSR was racking in a lot of free publicity from the protests, and that they wished a simular incident would happen with their RPG games so that they could get their day in the press as well...
