It is probably a toss up between Shadowskill The Movie or X The Movie. They both have great story lines and I can connect with each of them.
the best movie i ever saw is appleseed the graphics are very nice and there are lots of action in it the main character reminds me of snake from the game metal gear solid snake eater so i wonder what is the best anime movie YOU ever saw

"Grave of the Fireflies" Great sound, graphics, story, eveything. Roger Ebert says it one of the best was movies(not just anime, ALL war movies) ever made.
^OMG I hate to admit this but I bought that movie, and only managed to watch it once because it was so sad. But yes, definately an amazing movie. Brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it...
My favorite anime movie would probably be Ninja Scroll. Oldschool as heck and ninjas never get any less cool.

The greatest anime movie I've ever seen would have to be Metropolis. It had great storyline, it had an awsome setting, and the graphics wern't to shaby either.

i would say x the movie, bleach the movie, naruto movie 2 ,spirited away and the recent movie from hayao miyazaki, howl`s moving castle..
