Thread: whats your favorite movie and why

Edit: For you Hassun, Click wasn't just a wonderful movie but I loved the comedy that was wrapped around the whole story, it always had a part in there to cheer you up even after sad parts. The whole movie taught me a lesson, never to be careless about my life so I love the movie.

Well I can't say I have one overall favorite movie. I am torn between two. Well one is actually a trilogy and the other is just one.

SAW 1 & 2: I haven't seen 3 yet so I'm not going to comment on it yet. The movie had everything a horror/thriller should have. A great plot, excellent actors, lots of gore, and a sick twisted ending. A man who puts people in ironic situations where their lives are at risk with either decision they make. This didn't turn out like most movies with a sequel that sucked. I must admit that the sequel didn't have the same scary effect as the first but it did have an excellent story plot. Oh and Jigsaw "situations". I expect the 3rd to be great as well.

Boondock Saints: It was about last year when I first saw this movie and ever since then it was the most amazing piece of work I have ever seen. It wasn't just the story plot, great actors, and intense action, these guys were brothers called upon by a higher power to kill bad guys. It doesn't get any cooler than that. I loved how they did the story setup. They would show what happen before and after then they explained what happened while they showed it. It was cool when the agent was explaining the crime scene as if he was there. Overall this movie has everything. Even comedy. I never laughed as hard as I did when the cat died. Overall I enjoyed it and it will go down as my all time favorites.

Hmm... That's a hard one. Even though I've answered this question many times I always change my mind on what is my favorite. I love war movies, but the only thing I can think of right now is Black Hawk Down. I like it becuase it was pretty accurate towards what actually happend and it showed exactly what can go wrong during an op and how much that can effect everything. It shows that you have to be constantly suspicious, prepare for the worst and read between the lines when it comes to staying alive, and that you can't expect anything to be a cakewalk no matter how simple it looks. I think it's a good lesson to learn for anyone who is planning on going in the military.

I would say Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorite movies to watch. I like how it is really gorey. I also like the fact that a black person was one of main characters. It was one of the first movies to have main characters that are black in a film with white people. Their are some exceptions also such as 'Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

My favorite anime movie would have to be Broly: The legendary Super Sayian. I say this because the movie has many action secenes and good ones at that, I also say this movie is my favroite anime movie because its a DBZ related show, and I am a big fan of DBZ.

My favorite real time movie would be THE PASSION OF CHRIST,it is a movie about Jesus himself and it shows him as how he really lived and what truly happened, Mel Gibson's best movies ever.
