my first cd was a jedi mind tricks (JMT) cd called Visions of Ghandi. around the time i bought this, i started listening to more and more rap, so people directed me to the old rap, classic rap section, and pop, JMT came up. first of all, JMT is a rap group formed with 2 main people, Vinnie Paz and Producer/DJ Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind, but 90% of their music is formed with other people including Kool G Rap, 7L & Esoteric, Sean Price, Ras Kass, Canibus, Percee P, Killah Priest, Louis Logic, GZA, R.A. the Rugged Man, Tragedy Khadafi, and Ill Bill. Visions of Ghandi came out in 2003, and its their third cd, and most arguably the best stuff ive ever listened to.

one of the most famous JMT singles was Animal Rap, which was revolutionary at the time because it used snares and an orchestra as the main beat. i have to say that this cd opened my mind to what is now a rap/hiphop machine
