i eeven found an old statue in a oriental shop the other day that when i asked who it was the owner said it was Guan Yu i now own said statue and he even has red hare and the dragon glaive weapon has anyone found any other such artifacts

Yes, i think all the characters in dynaster warriors are base off real people and probably on real events but exaggerated. Well, not that im surprise some people wouldn't know, but why is this in the Japanese culture forum?

dynasty warriors is set in China. The majority of the characters are based on real life characters. Some were made into legends. Guan Yu i think was said to be rewarded by the Emporer of the Heavens as the God of War. I'm not sure but it should be. Jus check on wikiedpida and u should find tht most them did exist.
