Any guitarist. (Rock, Hard rock, Heavy Metal, Classical, Blues, Neoclassiccal, etc.) Give good Reasons why. State what band their from also. My favorite is well, I 'm a guitarist myself and I have many to discover the influences in my style so; Yngwie Malmsteen, Glenn Tipton from Judas Priest, Randy Rhoads, Wolf Hoffman from Accept, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Ritchie Blackmore, Eddie Van Halen, John Williams, and Gary Moore. Please add reasons about technique, feeling, structure, favorite song, etc.

Stevie Ray Vaughan.I'm not a big blues fan, but I always make time to listen to his work. I never heard of him before I saw his video on MTV years ago(a long, long time ago). He had a smooth, flowing style. I really enjoy listening to Riviera Paradise. Whenever I need to cool-out, I dial him up on my ipod and relax. Damn I miss him!

When I started listening to The GazettE's music, I didn't know who was who or bothered to find out who they were. But I was too attracted to the guitar play on the left-speaker so one day, I decided to check out who they were and who played the guitar on the left-speaker.

I also like Metallica's guitarists. I don't know who they are till now. I just listen.

i like him mainly because of how he can go from a pop tune to hard rock in a couple beats. Plus, i think he is the one who writes the songs. i think that is very impressive. plus his backup vocals along with his guitar is a very nice listening experience.
my favorite song by them is Shimi, because of the slow tempo buildup to the punk band speed, all the while, uwe-chan and ryo never missing a beat. then theres always Nawo's velvety voice in the middles with uwe chan rocking the bass.

Him my favorite guitarist would have to be the on form korn cause that is my favorite band and I think that korn music is very cool sound to it.
