1. What are YOUR impressions of it?
2. Do you have any WiiWare games yet? And what do you think of them?
3. Do you plan to download any (more) of the current titles?
4. Do you plan to download any of the future titles?

2. Yes, I do! Only Pop and Lost Winds! Pop's a great game if you want a simple game, but don't expect to be playing it for hours... expect up to 15-minutes for the average person playing it. As for Lost Winds, a good definition for future games on WiiWare. Simple, and uses the Wii's motion controls to a basic use. A tender side-view adventure game that has set up the standard for any future WiiWare adventure games. A+.
3. I plan to get them all.
4. SBCG4AP, Dr. Mario, Tetris, Pokemon Rancher, and etc... most games, basically.

Re: WiiWare

I'm excited to see what comes out of it. I haven't been able to connect Wiiware since my wifi is down. I really want to see the games that come out that are low budget fan based made.

Re: WiiWare

Yahoo is saying that WiiWare is the Wii's first blunder. This is their big complaint

The interface is average at best, and the limited storage of the Wii console means trouble for heavy users of the machine's Virtual Console service.
I don't know about you but I'm not even closed to using all the space. Also if this is the only gripe isn't that good?

Soshi Kitai thanks for the ratings post. Some of them sound interesting.

Soshi Kitai thanks for the ratings post. Some of them sound interesting.
Most Wii gamer-owners have complained about the amount of space heavily decreasing in their Wiis. That's especially due to the fact of their love of the Virtual Consoles.
But Nintendo isn't deaf to these pleas. And though they've shut down people's requests many times... it was never a "No", it was a "Not that way". As seen here. -click-

However, most have stopped griping about the idea and have generally accepted the fact that "we may never see a storage solution anytime soon".

And I wouldn't say this is the Wii's first blunder.
The first blunder would be the idea of TOO MUCH shovelware.
Though shovelware definitely increases sales to a dramatic amount (as seen in PS2 sales), and attracts several customers... TOO MUCH shovelware so soon (the rate that the Wii gets shovelware compared to the rate of "legit" games come out is far beyond what the PS2's rate was) actually harms the Wii's hardcore-gamer customers (several people in the hardcore gaming crowd sold their Wiis on the day WiiFit came out).

In my opinion, WiiWare is a good move, since it actually has piqued interest back to the general-gaming populace. It also set up a new medium for small 3rd-party producers, rather than just the Playstation Network or Xbox LIVE Arcade.

...so in the end, WiiWare's "gripes" are already being "cured" by it existing in the first place (the longer WiiWare exists, the more Nintendo is pushed to find a storage solution... and the more 3rd party producers realize how the Wii can do more than just shovelware).

Not only that, but Wii's titles are starting to pick up speed, as less and less shovelware are starting to appear... and games that are given a bit more attention to, are appearing.

Oh, and my top suggestions for WiiWare:

Single-player:
1. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King
2. Lost Winds
3. Dr. Mario Online Rx
4. Star Soldier R (I need to try the game first, though)
5. Defend Your Castle

Multi-player:
1. Family Table Tennis
2. Dr. Mario Online Rx
3. TV Show King
4. Critter Round-Up
5. Defend Your Castle

Casual Gaming/Wasting Time:
1. Pop
2. Family Table Tennis
3. Defend Your Castle
4. Star Soldier R
5. Dr. Mario Online Rx

Of course, with the upcoming titles coming for WiiWare, the list can easily change.

Re: WiiWare

Thats a good point. Your right about the titles that are out for the Wii. Some are...extremely lacking. I hope they fix that soon, most of the games I've seen coming out don't look much better.
