I have to agree with the Chubz with the consumerism. Its become all about making money and selling crap to people who dont really need it. People have become so materialistic that no one cares about family or friendship or what the holiday is about. Its all about gifts these days. I spent my last Christmas in boot camp with nothing but a letter from my girlfriend and my buddies that i trained with. That was the best Christmas I ever had.

My big bro got the xbox one year

I got the Ps2

The twins got a Car.

My mom since there were 2, and since we forgot there birthday. It was only nice to get them cars. And since me and my big bro didn't have linsenes, and they did. We should just hush up. I tell you. I was not happy with my Ps2.

The shopping! HAVE YOU SEEN PEOPLE IN THE STORES AT THESE TIMES.

My mom always goes early, but for those people that wait for the last min.

I can't understand why people still rush out on Christmas Eve for those last minute gifts. Pretty much anything you can buy at the mall is available online, and I for one would gladly lose a few bucks on shipping than my sanity at the mall.

The absolute worst part of Christmas is that, due to political correctness and the desire not to exclude anyone, everyone says/writes "Happy Holidays" (or far worse, the dreaded "Merry X-mas") instead of "Merry Christmas". If the Christian connotation pisses you off, don't celebrate it. Don't threaten to sue or boycott; it just makes you look a whiny jerk.

*Thinks* Hmm...well isnt Christmas supposed to be kindness and generousity towards fellow man, but if you went to the malls and such you would see everyone squabbling over things that people will get bored of in a year or so, the the whole process repeats.
