I don't think there are any better site in terms of information that xbox.com site

In terms of whether you should buy it or not, you should google for xbox360 elite for some opinions. I have read people who said it is worth the money, while others said it is not. It is up to you to decide.

it's worth it if you haven't gotten a 360 yet.

Basically, it has 120GB of memory and little port things if you want your game to go HD; also, if you want to hook up Wi-Fi if you want to play on XBox live.

mind you, the price is the same if you bought a Core console (the cheapest one) and a seperate memory thingy of 120GB... so if ou don't plan on using the extra techy-features, then i'd say get the Core/Premium and get the memory when the need arises (mostly if you're into downloading stuff from the XBox Live game download thingy)

but i want to start out new with a new system and everything, should i selll the xbox i own already and get a new elite

Well at this point your old xbox is not going to worth a whole lot. However, I know there are promotions occasionally by eb games that give you $80 bucks toward a new xbox 360, but I am not sure if that is a good deal or not. Note this though, I have only been told that the elite has a bigger hard drive and HDMI connection, but not the wifi that was talked about earlier.

And it doesn't make less sound like hinted at earlier. It's not really worth it in my opinion.

dude, its black... not a shiny black, but an awesome flat black... ima get one, DEFINITLY! call me retarded, but it just looks cool. and that huge hdd will come in handy someday
