Thread: 3 sannin vs their summons?

I would say the summons because they have the advantage of size and each has an individual talents

The Sannins.

Those contract monsters wouldn't have ended up under the Sannins' command if they considered them as inferior beings in the first place.

Just remember those episodes where Jiraiya taught Naruto the ins and the outs of summoning. You'll get your answer there.

let me give some meat to this bone.

i think both have their advantages

Sannin: They have the ability to summon the things they do. Therefore, the creatures must see that these are ninja of superior power. They have techniques which can come in handy to defeat their summons, plus the sannin know their weaknesses after training with them for so long.

Summons: Size is definately an advantage here. pus the abilities of each. however, size does not always equal a good win. they all can be sluggish (no pun intended, as one is a slug) at times and their moves can be easily seen. I feel that gamabunta would be the only realy challenge for anyone due to his swordsmanship.

in all honesty i believe that the sannin would be victorious due to their knowledge of their summons' weaknesses and strengths.

but i would be cool to see them figh and yeah i think that it would be close but still i go with the sannin ^_^

I believe it would be a pretty crazy battle because instead of fighting the opponents, they would probably be fighting each other. But if they could find some meaning of the phrase "let bygones be bygones" then I believe the Sannins would deffinately win because even though the Summons jutsu's are powerful, they have very few, while the Sannins have a vast ammount, especially Orochimaru(ugh i hate saying his name, I hate thinking about him actually! >.<).

1) if they can summon those strong monsters... then they themselves must be very strong indeed rite??
2) they are the SANNINS!!! one of the best ninjas in naruto!! so why shud they lose??
