i know the Anbu's are supposly strong ninja. But every time i see them in action they never live up to their reputation, (in expection of kakashi, a former anbu)
The anbu are always getting fooled or losing in a fight.Please tell if im wrong about this
I agree. They just usually look cute and fluffy to me. ^_^

I think its to show how detailed the villages are. It shows how each village has different levels and divisions. It may seem pointless to have them there but it adds to the effect of this society being realistic.
