Anbu....overrated?

the only good anbu are itachi uchiha and kakashi hatake and they were captains, the one during chunin exams couldnt even protect the third hokage so they blow donkey dick
excluding the first two i mentioned.

ya,anbu is getting a bad rep. on the show.they nevr do any amazing stuff as far as i know.they need to make them look a little better so they actaully LOOK important.the only anbu action ive seen that was good was be former members like itachi and kakashi.other than that,they all bore me.

yamamoto, the new sensei, is kinda cool ya gotta admit. i think the problem is we've only seen them against super strong opponents. kabuto killed all of them so easily because he was a spy and he suprised them, and the mist village ninja were high class renegades who looked like they were at least as good as standard ANBU which is basically all we've seen besides yamamoto, kakashi, itachi, and ibiki. about the captain at the oro-third fight, they couldn't do anything cause of the shield, and besides even if they could, what are they supposed to do against some one like oro? they would just get in the way with the third trying to protect them.

i forgot zabuza was another good anbu being one of the seven swordsmen of the mist makes him also a good anbu so there are some good anbu and some bad anbu i guess

Yes, that whole ANBU issue made me think too. I mean, hypothetically speaking every ANBU should at least be as strong as a Jonin. Which means as strong as Kakashi for instance, or Neji later in Shippuuden. But they definitely do not appear to be that tough. :P
That's sad, I actually like the ANBU. They are not supposed to be so weak. :nono:

i think they havent reallly appeared it, but they are strong. there really just hasnt been that much proof of it. -lol
but considering they arre the head ninja, they have to have some skittles right>?
