Zero-Tailed Beast The Zero-Tail (零尾, Reibi) is a dark leech-like creature with a noh mask sealed within Amaru.

One-Tailed Shukaku The One-Tailed Shukaku (一尾の守鶴, Ichibi no Shukaku) is a monster tanuki (化け狸, bakedanuki) sealed within Gaara of Sunagakure. It has been captured by Deidara then sealed by Akatsuki.

Two-Tailed Monster Cat The Two-Tailed Monster Cat (ニ尾の化け猫, Nibi no Bakeneko) is a blue-flamed bakeneko sealed within Yugito Nii of Kumogakure. It has been captured by Hidan and Kakuzu then sealed by Akatsuki.

Three-Tailed Giant Turtle The Three-Tailed Giant Turtle (三尾の巨大亀, Sanbi no Kyodaigame) is a demon turtle that the Akatsuki assigned Tobi (though Deidara did all the work) to capture.


Four-Tailed Beast The Four-Tails (四尾, Yonbi) is a demon sealed within Rōshi of Iwagakure. It has been captured by Kisame Hoshigaki then sealed by Akatsuki.


Five-Tailed Beast The Five-Tails(五尾, Gobi) is a demon sealed within an unnamed shinobi from Iwagakure. It has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki.


The Six-Tails (六尾, Rokubi) is a demon sealed within an unnamed young man of unknown origins. It has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki.


The Seven-Tails (七尾, Nanabi) is a demon sealed within an unnamed kunoichi from Takigakure. It has been captured and sealed by Akatsuki.


Eight-Tailed Giant Ox The Eight-Tailed Giant Ox (八尾の巨牛, Hachibi no Kyogyū) is a demon ushi-oni sealed within Kirābī of Kumogakure.


Nine-Tailed Demon Fox The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox (九尾の妖狐, Kyūbi no Yōko) is the most powerful of the Tailed Beasts; a single swipe of one of its nine tails can raise tsunamis and flatten mountains. After the demon fox attacked Konohagakure, Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, sealed it within his newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki, by using the Dead Demon Consuming Seal, sacrificing his own life to do so.
