does it bug anyone that in naruto they switch the names around?

hi, just wondering, does it bug any fans out there that began out on the manga and japanese episodes that they switch the names from the original japanese format. ex. neji hyuga. it's supposed to be hyuuga neji. is it just me?

its just the translations. Japanese always put the surname first compared to other countries/traditions where the forename comes first. It happens in other animes too. So its nothing really to be worried about.

It doesn't really bother me bcuz isnt that the way its translated but it might confuse some ppl

Saying the first name first or the first name last is probably the least of anyone's translation problems. Making translation mistakes or censoring are much more annoying.

If we would write Hyuuga Neji instead of Neji Hyuuga many of the kids reading it would think Hyuuga is his first name and Neji his surname. Which would create confusion and errors.

It doesn't bother me either. It doesn't affect the plot so it's fine by me.

It never really bothered me because I always knew that it was just translation because japan always has that last name first.

Not only does america beat the hell out of japanese voices, they convert it all over to english which is only so we can understand it. Lol a lot of stuff that sounded cooler in japanese was given a dubbed version :/

Katon: Goukakyuu no Jutsu compared to Fire Style: Fireball jutsu sounds better IMO.

Names are names though, the Hyuga translation is really the only noticeable one though.

there's also the Uchiha translation. but, anyway it's not that it bugs me that much, i was just wondering if anyone noticed it. and i also think it sounds better in the original format.

yea @.@ when they swich names it makes me get lost on how to spell it and people just take out some times >< y do they do this to the names
