yeah. what about jiriya's sage mode, that could do a lot of hope, also, in the series jiriya is seen clearly as the stronger ninja

Me? I think Tsunade will win. If she was hurt, she could heal herself. Not like Jiraya. She also has strong strength that would easily let Jiraya went up to the air.

Tsunade lacks ranged jutsu, she has no effective counter to jutsu like Swamp of the Underworld, or Deep Fryer from Jiraiya. For Tsunade to win she has to close the distance and attempt to engage Jiraiya in taijutsu, which I don't see her being able to do.
