Jiraiya is funny but can get serious and kick butt.
my favorite move that he does is when he summons gamabunta and does the toad flame bomb
i feel that jiraiya is a major part of naruto not only did he teach the fourth hokage but he also taught naruto, pain, and konan two akatsuki members and also a possible future hokage not just that but he also taught a hokage hes got a good track record
