As far as Pein and Jiraiya...I think Jiraiya dies since he pulled out his "book" before the battle and has it set to be taken to Naruto if he dies. I think it will give Naruto the ability to either fully use the Ninetails (which the manga states is only half sealed in naruto with the seperation of the Ying and Yang) or master the Rasengan...either of which he will use to defeat Pein …of course Jiraiya’s death could change Pein back to the good side…there are just so many directions it can go…but hopefully we will know soon.

First of pein think he is on the good side hes go is.Pein, however, has different plans on using the tailed beasts, wishing to use them to create a weapon of mass destruction that will force the world to learn the pointlessness of fighting and try to achieve a sense of world peace. and he think that it is his thing to do cause he is good. And you need to think that there is no way to prefect the rasegan as we know and anyway if it was posable dont you think jiraiya would have used it and beside he said that there are many different ways to make the rasegan(wind release) and the wind release is better then any rasegan by far.a much more powerful version of the original. The jutsu is capable of producing a massive crater beneath Naruto, and managed to defeat Akatsuki member Kakuzu in a single blow. Despite the great power of the technique, Yamato confirms that it is still only about halfway finished. Even only half-finished, Naruto's control over the technique is finely-tuned, allowing him to manipulate the wind chakra into various shapes, such as a shuriken in Wind Release: Spiraling Shuriken. The jutsu is capable of damaging every cell in the opponent's body. Such is its power that Tsunade likens the effect to poison, stating plainly how concentrated the effect is. Unfortunately, Naruto's arm suffers nearly the same damage, and the technique is only to be used as a last resort.
