its my personal belife that to become a jonin u must be skilled in ninjutsu, genjutsu and in taijutsu. Also i think that the person must create their own jutsu. And u must be a good leader in battle. Only the must elite Chunin become Jonin.

true and what Chunin and Genin do u think have that talent in that case since Rock Lee cant do any Ninjutsu then how would he go about becoming a Jounin

It's probably extremely brutal, even more so then the Chunin Exams. In my opinon, it's possible that it has a very high death rate during the exam.

mmm in the case of rock lee he would be considered to be a taijutsu specialist. but it's been said already, if there are exams. Then it would be more brutal and has a higher death rate. I would have thought that Jounins would be hand picked by a panel including the Hokage.

I think the Jounnin Exam isn't to be taken lightly. We all saw how the Chunnin exams are and how deadly they became. To be a Jounnin is like to be an Officer in the military. You are not only a warrior but also a leader. You have to know your job and you have to do it beyond expectation. That position isn't given to you on a silver platter. I think the exams not only test you skills but also test your leadership abilities as well.

My beliefe is that there are not Jouning exams because in the series nor in the manga Jounin exams have been mentioned yet. Once you become a Chunnin you work your way up to become a Jounin. For each mission accomplished you get the experience necessary to become a Jounin.

it is a mystery, but i don't think its extremly rigorus or anything. But i think they just need to be superior in leadership and combat skills. If they excel at that than they're a jonin
