Man that guy is messed up. I watched the part about his childhood and everything and but I'm still shocked he's so sick in the head.
Besides that I was wondering how would a psychologist diagonose him? Does anyone who took psychology 101 have an answer?

..:Open Your Wings Evil Angel:..
Thats true you have to see his entire story in order to realize that he is just like Naruto. They have almost the same issues just that Gaara has been through more. They do have their differences though. For example, Gaara never had friends to rely on when he was older. He never even tried to get along with his siblings. But after his fight with Naruto things start to change.

Its sad but true. He softens up after awhile and doesn't fight as much.
Gaara just isn't the same without his sadistic yet thrilling drive.
It's not that he didn't make the effort in making friends. He tried once when he was giving oinment to the kid he hurt when he was 6. And ever since Yashamaru died something in him made him snap. I want to say that he was traumatized from killing Yashamaru. Though people who are traumitized have reverse reactions. Gaara's just led him to kill things because he was alone and he lost the only person he trusted and loved.
